Storyboard Pro 7.0.3 Release Notes

Here is the list of changes in Storyboard Pro 7.0.3, build 17.10.3.16542 (2020-11-27):

NOTE

Storyboard Pro does not natively support the new Apple M1 chip. On systems using the new Apple M1 chip, Storyboard Pro runs through Apple’s Rosetta 2. This may cause compatibility issues when running on the new ARM-based macOS systems.

Fixed Issues

The following issues have been fixed in this release:

  • Crash on macOS Big Sur when selecting the Tool Properties tab while the Brush, Pencil or Eraser tool is active. SB-3459
  • The marquee selection appears as a black rectangle in the Timeline after a right-click. SB-3995
  • Quicktime movies created when exporting to EDL/AAF/XML on Windows always use the H.264 codec. SB-3542
  • setMovieConfig() is ignored when exporting movies using the scripting interface and movies are always created using the H.264/MPEG4 movie format. SB-3472
  • Storyboard Pro stops working when creating a new project from a Final Draft file that contains transitions. SB-3352
  • Audio clips disappear from the Timeline when splitting the last panel before empty frames. SB-3349
