Project Management View

When you extract smaller Storyboard Pro projects from your main project to allow other project collaborators to work on the storyboard and animatic together, the Project Management view allows you to keep a list of the smaller projects that were extracted from your main project, to see if those smaller projects have been updated and to quickly import their changes into the main project.

Likewise, if you are working on a smaller project that was extracted from a bigger project, the Project Management view allows you to check if the bigger project was changed and to import its changes into your smaller project.

	Merge Modified Panels from Selected Project	Analyzes the project that is selected in the linked projects list for changes, and imports the changes into the current project.
	Merge Settings	Opens the Merge Settings dialog. When you merge the modified panels from a project in the list, it will use the settings selected in this dialog to determine how to select and import the changes in the selected project.
	Edit Project Location	If a project in the list is no longer in its original location, select it and click on this button to browse for it and specify its new location.
	Add Project to List	Allows you to browse for a project and add it to the list of linked project.
	Remove Project from List	Removes the selected project from the list of linked project.
	Project Management Menu	Opens a menu from which you can split your project, extract child projects, merge projects into the current project or insert projects into the current project.
	Split	Opens the Split Storyboard dialog, in which you can divide the current Storyboard Pro project into two smaller project so that two different project collaborators can work on each half simultaneously. The project will be split at the currently selected panel, so you should select the panel where you want to divide your project before opening this dialog.
	Extract	Opens the Extract Storyboard dialog, in which you can extract different parts of the current project into several smaller projects, so that several project collaborators can work on different parts of your project at the same time.
	Merge	Opens the Merge Storyboard dialog, which allows you to combine several small projects into the current project. You can insert each project in a specific order, before or after the scenes in your current project.
	Insert	Allows you to browse for an insert another Storyboard Pro project into the current project. The selected project will be inserted after the currently selected scene.
	Merge and Replace	Opens the Advanced Merge Storyboard dialog. This dialog allows you to select one or several projects that were extracted from the current project, then modified by project collaborators, and scenes in the current project with their corresponding scenes in these extracted projects. You can manually select which scenes to import from the extracted projects.
	Merge Modified Panels	Opens the Merge Modified Panels dialog. This dialog allows you to select a project that was extracted from the current project, then modified by a project collaborator, and to quickly import the changes that were made to this project into the current project. It automatically selects which panels to import, either by the time and date of their last modification, or based on whether or not they are marked as tracked.
	Project Status Indicator	Indicates the status of the project using a colour code: Gray: The project does not have any modifications to merge. Orange: The project has modifications to merge. Red: The project cannot be found in the location indicated in the Path column.
	Selected project status	Indicates the status of the currently selected project.
	Automatic refresh settings	By default, the status of linked projects is not automatically updated. You can check the checkbox in this area to make the Project Management view automatically update the status of each project in the list at a specific interval. The interval can be specified in minutes in the field to the right. By default, when this is checked, the status of each project is updated every 10 minutes.
	Refresh Project Status	Instantly updates the status of every project in the list of linked projects.
