Locking and Unlocking Alignment Guides
By default, it is possible to move alignment guides with the 
Layer Transform tool and the 
Select tool. But once your guides are properly position, you might want to manipulate elements in your panel with either tool without having to avoid accidentally moving your alignment guide.
When alignment guides are locked, it is not possible to move them. You can lock and unlock alignment guides at any time depending on whether you want to manipulate them or use them.
How to lock or unlock alignment guides
- Do one of the following:
- In the Alignment Guides toolbar, click on the
Lock Alignment Guides button to toggle it on or off. - In the top menu, select View > Alignment Guides > Lock Alignment Guides to toggle the option on or off.
