Copying and Pasting Sound Clips
By using a series of keyboard shortcuts or contextual menus, you can duplicate a group of sound clips.
How to copy sound clips
- In Timeline view, select a sound clip or a group of sound clips.
- Press Ctrl + C (Windows) or ⌘ + C (Mac OS X) to copy the sound clips.
- In the Timeline, select the audio track where you want to copy the selected clip or group of clips.
- Press Ctrl + V (Windows) or ⌘ + V (Mac OS X) to paste the sound clips.
The sound clips will be pasted at the same frame as they were on their original track.
If a sound clip is already present on a destination audio track, the pasted clip will overwrite the sound clip on the destination track.
If sound clips are copied from multiple tracks, they will keep their track distance even when pasted. If needed, Storyboard will create additional audio tracks to preserve the track distance.
