Exporting the Thumbnailing Page

All the panels created using the Thumbnailing Page can be exported to a PDF. The pages of the PDF will either contain the Thumbnailing Page per sheet, or have each thumbnail exported in an individual panel on the sheet. The layout of the Thumbnailing Page upon export can be adjusted in the Page Layout Tab of the PDF Profile Box.

NOTE By default, when exporting the Thumbnailing Page to a PDF, each page will contain the full Thumbnailing Page on the sheet.
NOTE Empty panels from the Thumbnailing Page will be included when performing an export. In order to ignore empty frames, they will need to be disabled prior to export.

For more information about the PDF Profile Box, see PDF Profile Box.

You can orient your thumbnails the following ways in the Page Layout tab:

  • Pages as Panels: Will export the Thumbnailing Page within a single panel in the PDF upon export.

  • Scale to fit available space: Will fit the most thumbnails on a page in panels that are proportional to the scene’s camera.

  • Note: Any cells that are too large to fit on the page will appear on the following page.

  • Use Whole Page: Will expand the Thumbnailing Page to fit within the available space on a single page.

  • Split Thumbnails as Panels: Will export the Thumbnailing Page as well as other panels and scenes contained in camera views that are proportional to the scene’s camera.
