Audio Playback

In the Adjust Dialogue Intonation with AI dialog, you can playback raw and augmented audio. There are three playback operations that can be used in order to listen to the dialogue that has been input into Storyboard Pro.

The following are the three options for audio playback:

  • Play original audio.

  • Play recorded audio.

  • Play AI generated audio.

The Play original audio will play the original, undoctored audio as it exists in the Timeline.

NOTE If an audio file does not begin within a panel or crosses between two different panels, the Play original audio icon will be inactive.

The Play recorded audio will play the audio recording that you created. This playback will enable you to hear how you sound, check the quality of your recording and listen for the tone, intonation, expression, clarity and overall vocal qualities applied to the dialogue in your script.

NOTE By default, the Play recorded audio will be disabled until you record new audio.

The Play AI generated audio will play the dialogue with the AI voice containing the intonations, tone and other vocal qualities found in your recorded audio.

NOTE The Play AI generated audio will only play the AI reciting your dialogue using your recording if the recorded audio has been sent to the server to be processed by AI.

For more information about sending your dialogue to be processed by the AI, see AI Processing.
