Importing and Deleting Models

You can import any *.tvg (Toon Boom Vector Graphic) drawings in your Model view. To avoid browsing for models every time you work on your project, you can store default models in your project and load them when necessary.

  1. Do one of the following:
  • From the Stage, Camera, Thumbnail or Layers view, select a drawing layer, then drag and drop it directly in the Model view.
  • In the Stage, Camera, Thumbnail or Layers view, select a drawing layer, then from the Model View menu, select Use Current Drawing as Model.

The model appears in the Model view.

  1. Do one of the following:
  • In the Model View toolbar, click the Import Model button.
  • From the Model View menu, select Import Model.
  1. In the Browser window, browse for any *.tvg drawing file on your hard drive.
  1. Click Open.

The model appears in the Model view.

  1. In your project’s folder, create a new folder and name it models.
  1. On your hard drive, copy the *.tvg drawing files you want to use as colour models in your project.
  2. Paste the copied models in the models folder you created.
  1. Do one of the following:
  • From the Model View menu, select Load Default Models.
  1. In the Library view’s left side, select the Template folder and continuing expanding its subfolders until *.tvg files appear on the right side.

  1. In the Library view’s right side, select a *.tvg drawing and drag it into the Model view.
  1. In the Model view, navigate to the model you want to remove.
  2. Do one of the following:
  • In the Model View menu, select Clear Model.
  • Right-click in the Model view and select Clear Model.
  • Press Del.
