CryptoMatte Node
The CryptoMatte Node is a node that is used to access a specialized matte from an imported EXR file. This format is often used in a compositing workflow and allows an artist to select targeted mattes from a rendered image.
The CryptoMatte Node reads these custom formatted EXRs' data. It identifies and isolates the available matte layers and renders the mattes needed for the specific compositing operation. This rendered image format can be imported from any digital content creation software. Harmony can read EXRs exported from both 2D and 3D softwares.
