Import Vector Files Dialog Box
You can import vector Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files, Portable Document Files (.pdf) and Scalable Vector Graphics (.svg) files through the File menu.

Append to First Frame's Drawing |
When enabled, the imported vector file will merge with the selected drawing layer. NOTE
In order to merge your vector file to the existing Drawing layer, Selected Element must be selected.

Selected Element |
Import your vector file into an existing drawing layer in your Harmony scene. NOTE
You must select the Drawing node prior to accessing the Vector Import dialog.
NOTE The imported vector file will create a Drawing substitution and replace the exposure that is selected.

Create New Elements Using Base Name |
Create a new Drawing element in the Timeline and Node view containing your imported vector file. You can assign a name to your new element in the text box. |
Colours |

Use Existing Palette | All textures and/or colour swatches imported with your vector files are added to an existing palette in your Harmony scene. |
Create New Palette |
When your vector files are imported, a new colour palette will be created containing all the textures and/or colour swatches. You can assign a name to your new colour palette in the text box. |
Pages to Import |

All Pages | Select the pages of your .pdf file you would like to import. When All Pages is deselected, rather than import all the pages of your .pdf, you can specify the start and end page to import. |
