Automatically Creating Animation Keyframes When Transforming Elements

T-ANIMCO-001-007

Before you start animating, you should set the Animate mode of Harmony to Animate Current Frame. This mode ensures that, whenver you use the Transform tool or any of the Advanced Animation tools to move, rotate, scale or skew an element in your scene, a keyframe is created at the current frame in which the new coordinates of the element are stored.

When this mode is enabled, all you need to do to animate elements in your scene is to select the frame where you want to create an animation keyframe, then position the element you want to animate in the position, angle, scale and skew you want it to be at this frame, and repeat for every animation keyframe you want to create. Since a keyframe is automatically created at the current frame each time you transform an element, making transformations on your elements on different frames in your scene will automatically create an animation.
