Creating a Free Form Deformation

You can easily create a Free Form deformer using the Rigging tool's Free Form mode.

  1. Select the drawing which you want to deform—see About Selecting Elements for Deformation.
  2. In the Deformation toolbar, select the Rigging tool.
  3. In the Tool Properties view, enable Free Form Mode.

  4. In the Camera view, click where you want to create your first deformation point.

  5. Repeat for each point you want to create.

  6. If you want to reposition a point, simply click and drag on it. If you move a point while the Rigging tool is selected, it will change the resting position of the point without deforming the drawing.

  7. If you want to delete a point, click on it to select it, then press Del.
