Adding Harmony Executables to the %PATH% Environment Variable on Windows
You can add the path to the Harmony executable files to the %PATH% environment variable. This will allow you to run Harmony and its applications and utilities from the command line by typing the name of the executable files, without having to type their full path.
NOTE You need an account with administrator privileges to do this.
How to add Harmony executables to the %PATH% environment variable on Windows
- In the Start menu, open the Programs menu and select Harmony 17 [Edition] > Tools > Configuration Wizard.
- When prompted, enable Configuration Wizard to make changes to your device.
- In the Toon Boom Harmony Configuration dialog, select the ... button right of Add Harmony to Path.
- If you only want to add the Harmony executables to the %PATH% variable for your own user, select Single User. If you want the Harmony executables to be in the %PATH% variable regardless of who is logged in, select All Users.
- Select Next.
- Click on Finish.
-
To verify that the change has been applied, open a new Command Prompt window and type the following command:
> echo %PATH%
