Distributing to Layers

To help breaking down a character, you can instantly split drawing strokes in a single layer onto multiple layers. When you use the Distribute to Layers command, each stroke you select in the Camera view is automatically placed on a new layer of its own.

  • If a single part of your character is composed of several strokes, you must group them before distributing them onto new layers—see Grouping Drawing Strokes.
  • You cannot distribute layers in the Drawing view. It must be done in the Camera view.
