Transfer License
Transferring enables you to send your license to a different workstation. In order to transfer your license, you will require a version 2 license and for your Toon Boom product to be a version 25.1 or newer.
Transferring and returning are similar operations in that they both enable you to send your license to a different workstation. However, unlike the Return operation, transferring is a single step process. You are not required to send the license back to the server in order for it to be activated on a new machine. When you click Transfer Here on the intended workstation, the license will transfer over and update on the server automatically.

To transfer your license, you will need to perform the Transfer Here operation using the License Wizard on the workstation you intend to send your license to. You can locate the Transfer Here operation in the Activate/Return Licenses in your Account window. Once transferred, the license will be validated on the current workstation it was transferred to.

Launch the License Wizard.
NOTE When transferring a license, you will need to complete the transfer operation from the License Wizard on the workstation that you wish to transfer your license to. -
Select the Menu > Activate/Return Licenses in your Account.
The Manage Licenses in your Account window will appear.

Locate the license you wish to transfer.

Select Transfer Here.
A dialog will appear to confirm that the license has been transferred successfully.
Your license will automatically be transferred to your current workstation and be invalidated on the workstation it was transferred from.
NOTE In order for the Transfer Here option to appear, your active account must be connected on a secondary workstation.
A license that has been transferred will be capable of running the Toon Boom software offline. However, without being connected to the server, the offline license will only be valid for 5 days before requiring you to reconnect to the server.
Should the transferred license expire before you are able to transfer or return the license back, your license will be unavailable in the Local License Wizard. Your license will automatically re-validate on the server requiring you to reactivate the license on your workstation. This will invalidate the transferred license and will revert back to its initial active state on the server in the License Wizard.
