While learning and working with Toon Boom Studio, you have access to the following help tools:

Context Sensitive Help

Toon Boom Studio 8 Getting Started Guide

The Getting Started guide briefly explains the general features and concepts included in the application so that you can quickly get up to speed with Toon Boom Studio. It is available through the Help > Getting Started menu, as PDF file.

Toon Boom Studio 8 Online Help

The Online Help explains in details each command and feature included in the application. It is available through the Help > Online Help menu. The Online Help is available online at docs.toonboom.com. The Online Help can be prompted using [F1] (Windows) or [⌘] + [Shift] + [?] (Mac OS X).

Context Sensitive Help

The Context Sensitive Help is a built in help system prompting a short description of the selected tool or command. It is available in both French and English.

To prompt the Context Sensitive Help:

1. Press the [Shift] + [F1] (Windows) or [Alt] + [Shift] + [?] (Mac OS X) keyboard shortcut.
2. Once you get the Question Mark or Hand icon, click on the button or menu item you want to learn about.

3. A short description is displayed in the bottom Status bar and a longer description appears on mouse-over.
