Improvements

Ember Rough Track Generation

The voice selection and generation workflow has been improved by adding commands to generate voice clips directly from the Timeline and Dialog caption. Right-click a panel in the timeline or open the menu located in the Dialog caption and select Create Rough Tracks with AI to quickly generate audio dialog from the text in the dialog caption.

The Select Voice button was added in the Scene Generation Options dialog to allow for quick voice selection before generating scenes and audio tracks from the dialog captions.

Fixes

General

  • Layers selection is lost when right-clicking on a layer to display the contextual menu on Windows. SB-6340

Drawing

  • The drawing selection is flipped from the wrong location when using the Flip Horizontal and Flip Vertical shortcuts. SB-6305

3D

  • Partially transparent textures mapped to image planes in FBX files appear fully invisible or white. SB-6364

  • FBX export settings are not saved between instances of Storyboard Pro. SB-5934

Effects Stack

Timeline

  • Opacity keyframes disappear after they are dragged and dropped in the Timeline. SB-6358

Library

  • A dot can be used as the first character of a template’s name, hiding the template from the Library. HAR-11181

Conformation

  • XML exported for conformation contains invalid camera keyframes when the camera spans across multiple panels and scenes are not exported in nests. SB-6363

Scripting

  • Captions in XML files contain rich text formatting when running exportToFCPXML with the -batch option. SB-5899

  • Running a script that prints to the MessageLog causes Storyboard Pro to print a random error code to the console when exiting. HAR-11250

  • QTcpServer::incomingConnection is not overrideable and cannot be used to initiate a TcpServer connection with it as a function. HAR-10169

Effects Preview

  • The drawing on a drawing layer becomes completely transparent the first time the Horizontal Blur attribute of a Gaussian Blur effect is set. SB-6339

  • The OpenGL preview of the Colour-Scale effect is inconsistent and not always accurate to the final rendered result . HAR-11144

  • The OpenGL preview of the Hue Saturation effect is not accurate. HAR-11143

Ember Tools

  • Creating a scene using Generate Scene Length with AI duplicates the Dialog caption field when Storyboard Pro is not in English. SB-6324

  • AI Mask tools are missing from the shortcut list and the Flat toolbars. SB-6138

  • The Unalias button in the Character Voices Selection dialog has no effect when a character has no voices assigned to it. SB-6316
